Linking Individuals through Naturally Existing Settings (L.I.N.E.S.) is a social/recreation and leisure program for adults with developmental disabilities providing a safe, supervised and engaging environment where people can share time with their peers in a supportive setting. Individuals may participate in creative arts and crafts, baking/cooking, exercise routines, swimming and local community outings.
The program operates out of the agency’s main site at 100-1140 Morrison Drive in west end Ottawa. L.I.N.E.S. is an appropriate choice for adults 18 years or older who have finished high school, have the ability to cooperate in group settings while at program and in the community and require minimal assistance with activities of daily living.
Referrals to the program are received from Developmental Service Ontario-Eastern Region for funded vacancies. Individuals and families may also purchase service using Passport or private funds depending on availability.
